About NEO WEB
The Northeast Ohio Chapter is the country's largest WEB chapter. Opportunities abound in the Northeast Ohio chapter for employee benefit and human resource professionals to exchange ideas and information on the latest trends and developments through our educational programs and networking opportunities. Northeast Ohio chapter programs often feature an interactive panel of benefits professionals from large and small employers, service providers, and consulting firms, who each bring a different perspective on important, practical issues faced by today's benefits leaders. Other programs highlight local and nationally-recognized industry leaders. WEB also sponsors certain social events for members and nonmembers to encourage relationship building while enjoying a relaxing time out of the office.
Program Schedule
The Northeast Ohio chapter generally meets in the morning on the second Thursday of the month from September through June. Program Fees and Registration
Regular program fees are $20 for members and $60 for non-members. Members can take advantage of additional savings by purchasing a season pass; the $80 pass covers all NEO WEB chapter programs and other events for the program year.
To register for a Northeast Ohio chapter program, scroll down to Current Events and click on the event title. Registration for each program opens about three weeks before the event. You may register online and prepay with a credit card, or select "check" when registering to signify that you will pay by alternate means, including cash, check or credit card at the door. You may also register in person and pay at the door, although advance registration and pre-payment are encouraged to avoid delays at check-in.
Continuing Education Credit
WEB is a great way to fulfill your professional continuing education credits. Northeast Ohio chapter programs are generally pre-approved for:
- Ohio continuing legal education (CLE)
- Ohio continuing education for insurance licensing (CE)
- SHRM and HRCI recertification
In addition, most WEB programs satisfy continuing education requirements that can be self-submitted for Ohio accounting (CPE), ASPPA and CEBS credit. Additional information about continuing education credit will be included with the notice for each program.
Continuing education credit earned by attending programs is free for members. Nonmembers must pay an additional $15 processing fee for CLE or insurance CE for a program.
