This update on Health Care Reform comes one day before most of the changes kick into gear. To be discussed are the latest changes, compliance considerations, wellness initiatives to consider and more.

Speakers:
Joseph Torella - President, Employee Benefits, HUB International

Joseph Torella is a 24 year industry veteran, and is responsible for the overall management of the Employee Benefits operations throughout HUB Northeast's regional offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining HUB in December 2009, he served as Vice President, Business Development with Savoy Associates, a group benefits general agency in New Jersey since January 2003, where he was responsible for overseeing a regional office and expansion of the firm in Central and Southern New Jersey and into Pennsylvania.

Dennis Fiszer, JD - Vice President, Employee Benefits - Chief Compliance Officer - HUB International

As HUB's Chief Compliance Office, Mr. Fiszer is responsible for general compliance matters as well as reviewing contracts and plan documents, interpreting IRS and Department of Labor regulations and interpreting new legislation. Most recently, an increasing amount of Dennis' time has been devoted to Health Care Reform review, analysis, writing and presentation.

For the past 15 years, Dennis has earned increased responsibility in group welfare benefits compliance and legislative analysis, with special emphasis on ERISA compliance, COBRA administration, HIPAA, FMLA, Medicare and other employment law related obligations and topics regarding employee benefits.
